Oral Sedation

For patients who experience fear or anxiety when confronted with a dental appointment, oral sedation offers a peaceful alternative. It also makes lengthy treatments or successive procedures comfortable.

On the day of your appointment, we will escort you into your private suite where you will relax in a plush chair with a warm, cozy blanket. We’ll give you a small blue pill, dim the lights, provide you with soothing music through a headset and you’ll begin to relax with our calming aromatherapy. When you are completely comfortable, Dr. Carr and her team will begin restoring your smile and improving your health.

After your treatment, you will need a friend or relative to drive you home where you can enjoy the rest of your day. We understand the fear factor, but we also believe that your oral health should be a priority.
