Meet the Doctors

Bren Carr, DDS, PA

Choosing the right dentist is an important decision, and we respect your right to choose a dentist who will fulfill your dental needs, help achieve your dental goals, and cater to your dental fears. Dr. Carr understands what her patients want in a dentist because she invests time listening to each patient’s concerns and discussing treatment options. She believes that a great dentist should be a lifelong learner, because dental medicine is an ever-changing art and science.

A 1985 graduate of University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston, Dr. Carr enhances her education and training by attending continuing education courses and seminars, and by reading and researching the latest in dental technology. As a result, she’s added state-of-the-art dental equipment and new treatment techniques to our practice to improve patient comfort and longevity of dental work, and to help you spend less time in the operatory and more time enjoying life. Dr. Carr holds active membership in the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Orthodontic Society and she is a fellow of the Academy of GP Orthodontics.

Dr. Carr and her husband, John, are the parents of four beautiful children. When Dr. Carr is not spending time at her office she enjoys building and remodeling projects. Interior design is another one of her hobbies.

Jairo A. Chavez , D.D.S.

Dr. Chavez received his dental degree in 1993 from the prestigious National University of Colombia. He pursued a second dental degree from the International Dentist Program at Loma Linda University in Southern California, a very selective education program focused on advanced prosthodontics. This program is designed to allow qualified International dentists to earn a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in the United States. The program accepts only 24 dentists out of more than 800 applicants every year.

Dr Chavez continued his training by completing the Dental Implant Preceptorship at the University of Texas Health Science Center of San Antonio and continues his education by attending hundreds of continuing education hours. He is a certified Invisalign provider and has extensive experience in providing cosmetic dentistry and Cerec in office restorations.

He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American College of Oral Implantologists, and is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Chavez is also a founding member of the Gran San Antonio Hispanic Dental Association.

Dr Chavez loves dentistry and focuses on patient comfort and satisfaction. When he is not working helping patients he enjoys completing puzzles, riding his motorcycle or just relaxing at home with his wife and four children.
